Yes, we love deals. Yes, we love helping families save money.
But the best part of running this business isn't the deals. It's what the deals let us do.

Every donation gets one question.
Will this make a kid's day better?
If the answer is yes, we're in. If it's no, we pass. That's the whole policy. It keeps us honest, and it keeps the giving where it does the most good.
When we do a parade, we go big.
We don't just show up with a banner. We show up with a truck full of stuff.

We've handed out more than $25,000 in merchandise in a single 4th of July parade. Brand-name toys. Games. Treats. Rotisserie ovens. Flat-screen TVs — yes, carried into the crowd and handed to people who had no idea it was coming.

One year we trucked in a full load of small toys just to make it rain. Another year it was 2,000 bags of Doritos.

Why? Because giving is fun. And because success means nothing if you don't share it.
What we've done so far.
Bikes for kids

Every kid should have a bike that works. That's a barn full of bikes and bike parts, headed to kids who needed them.
Children's Hospital toy closet

When Vetting Customs ran a toy drop for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin toy closet, we helped fill it. A kid having a rough day should get something to smile about.
Local teams

One fundraiser weekend for the Sheboygan Redwings raised $2,045 — past the goal. That's what happens when our customers show up for local kids.
Youth sports sponsorships

Youth baseball, softball, basketball and flag football through Sheboygan Community Recreation. Whatever gets more kids on the field.
Girl Scouts

Troop 8137 sets up their cookie booths at our store. They made us this. It hangs in the store.
And a few more.
- $17,250 in free customer appreciation gifts. Because the people who shop here are the reason we can do any of this.
- Sheboygan Bratwurst Days. Because it's Sheboygan.
- Memorial Day Madness and Happy Birthday America giveaways. Holiday weekends are for giving stuff away.
- Father's Day gift making and Mother's Day cards for the kids. Free in-store events so every kid has something to give.
- 200 cases of crackers for the VFW. Not a kid thing. We made an exception.
Our stores are built for families.
Giving back doesn't stop at events. We designed both stores so parents can actually shop:
- A kids' play area in each store.
- A team trained to greet kids by name and treat families with care.
- Upbeat music and a clean, fresh-smelling store. Not boring. Not stressful.
We're not like most liquidation stores, and that's on purpose. We want people to come back for the experience, not just the savings.
Why we do it.
Not because it's a marketing strategy. Because it feels amazing.
When a kid leaves the store smiling, or a family gets a surprise at a parade, that's worth more than any ad we could run.
Yes, our business grows when the community supports us. But we grow when we support the community too. It works both ways.
